{Easy Summer Drinks} Mango Green Tea Smoothie

Everybody has their own version of 'a favorite smoothie' recipe. Smoothies are the best way to gulp up a good  number of fruit and vegetable servings required by us, each day. During summers especially, I simply love to have a glass of chilled drink as soon as am back home from sweltering heat outside.

The smoothie am going to talk about today is light, delicious and super rich in essential vitamins + iron. It just needs five minutes of your time and six ingredients to make a healthy mango and green tea smoothie. Its perfect for any time of the day - for breakfast, for those hot afternoons or at mid-evening when hunger pangs are at its peak.

Enjoy!

..mango madness...

...green tea for its antioxidants...

..brew in hot water for 3-4 minutes..

  1. I have started enjoying green tea only very recently. The sweetness of mango with the pungent green tea would definitely make a lovely drink.

    1. I have been an avid green tea drinker for quite sometime K. the pungency of the green tea along with sweetness from mango & banana as you said also help to cut the raw taste from spinach. One glass of this smoothie and we should be good to go till lunch :-)

  2. I just love the color of this smoothie. I would drink it just for that. I am still getting used to Green tea and this should be the best way to incorporate it in my drinks.

  7. I loved this recipe! What a great combination! I drink green tea quite often, as well as eat mango and spinach. I have spinach probably every week!

I will definitely try this one. It seems very healthy and tasty! Did you use tea bags or loose leaf? I will try loose leaf. The flavour is more intense! One cup of Gunpowder ready to go!

I'll let you know how it went. Thanks for sharing! I've tried baking Green tea cookies and it is also quite good!
